Turdbo is making all kinds of unsettling noise, gonna need a clutch probably sooner than later, and all sorts of other starquest general maint. Asking all the stupid noob questions because I can't quite figure out how to phrase things in the search feature on this forum to find exactly what I need lol. Just got done pulling the oil separator off to let it soak in some purple power for a bit, and while I was at it I checked the shaft play on the stock turdbo... Its pretty terrible, i'm betting its moving enough to hit the housing so I reckon no more conquest til I can get a replacement/rebuild of some sort. Its too bad I just can't hop the interwebz and find like a million t25 turdbos off SR20's for a hundred bucks like I could when I had the 240. I finished polishing them the other day and threw them on the car and put the non shp 8's on the front. Just need a 25mm spacer for the back and figure out where to buy those ST 2" drop srpings and it'll be sitting just how I want it. In the meantime I figured out how to make my beat up airdam look less.. beat up. When I first put it on I wasn't really feeling it, but it looks much better in person than in pictures methinks. With the non shp 8's in the front and the front lip on now the front looks really wide and aggressive. I like the direction this things is headed. Idk why I don't have that cool protrudy lip lookin airdam like it seems everyone else has. Mine is all lame and flat like. Was a bugger to get them to work, apparently the plug is the same for between them, but not the wiring. So I just kept moving the pins around in the headlight harness til it finally decided to work. Now I can once again return the favor that all those A holes in german/japanese luxury cars have been paying me in my rear view mirror.
