Right now, ill try to post pictures in order. When i first got herhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/Conquest.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/folder024.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/rims.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/atgrandmasquest.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/questNsupra.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/DSCF0014.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/widebody.jpg Stock set uphttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/stockengine.jpg Found a stripped exhaust stud and other bad crap so i decided to throw a new head on it. My first time doing anything this extensive. Also, i found out the hardway that my timing was 180 off  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/stockheadoff.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/TECH0001.jpg Then i bought a Trilogy Turbos 3" downpipehttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/DownPipe.jpg 1G MAS with K&Nhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/1gKN.jpg Soon after, my clutch started to slip so i bought a Fidanza flywheel and Spec stage 3 clutch. I also installed these by myself and it was my first timehttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/Oldvs.jpg Yada yada. Speed up to today and the car has had a few other mods done. 3" exhausthttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/exhaust.jpg The car is sitting infront of my house waiting for me to get a job and buy a stand alone.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/P1010136.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/MPI.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/mpiinstalled2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/driversside.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/passengerside.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/P1010047.jpg Ill keep updating as I continue. Fanta
what'd you do with the ARE star rims? Pretty nice car you have there. But how did you manage to have a driving car with timing off by 180? lol
Blind_Drifter
I still have the star rims. Sitting in my living room. ARE is the brand? I am always being asked what kind they are but i dont know. They are stamped as being made in england. 17x8 all of them. The timing, the car wouldnt start with it 180 off. TexasQuest
Those star rims look great. Subtle but still sporty.
GoFastBeater
Those star rims look great. Subtle but still sporty. I like them too but they definitely need a spacer on the rears to bring them out to the correct offset.
Blind_Drifter
So.... I towed the car to my dads garage and will now be working in it a little bit more. After sitting for 8 months and installing speakers, radio, turbo timer, and removeing the wiring harness, the interior is a mess. Thats not like me.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/100_0459.jpg How the bay looks as of last night (11/5/07) I got my throttle cable to work.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/100_0463.jpg Now, time to install the intercooler. Mine doesnt fit inbetween the rails. SO i guess ill mount it in front of them. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/100_0460.jpg
Blind_Drifter
Cut the rail about 1/4" to get the intercooler to fit tonight (11/6/07)http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/100_0468.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/100_0472.jpg
Mech
looking good. you should clean up that engine bay, and paint whatever you can. It'll look 10x better.

shift1313
i like how you hid your relays but i have a question, how do you change them? take your fender off? also are you going to finish up the bumper or leave the foam showing? looking good man
Blind_Drifter
As long as i have had my car i never had a problem with one of those relays. I think that the time time it would take to replace one is wirth the cleaner look. I plan on installing sheet metal to smooth out that opening like i have seen others do. Just that today everything was closed. Thanks for the compliments.
BOOSTED88tsi
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/TheUncannyJ/101_0474.jpgMake sure to get the relay thats on the drivers side firewall, just put it behind the panel and fill the hole. I really like your idea but i was thinking of cutting a larger section out of that area and welding some tabs on the metal left to you can unbolt the entire piece with the relays on the back side. Only reason being is my stuff never seems to go bad when im at home keep up the good work
