StarquestRescue
I did not hear any popping. I did hear the sound of the secondary air system. Pull the vacume hose of the black rectangular box between the dip stick and valve cover and plug it. Maybe that is what you are hearing at idle. Indiana
What spark plugs you using?Have those injectors been cleaned? www.rceng.comWhat are your compression numbers? A faulty lifter causes a crap idle, a mechanical rocker arm with lash different one to another causes a crap idle too. The PCV could be sticking. Inconsistent compression numbers causes a crap idle. The poorly burning fuel fouls spark plugs in cylinders with low compression. You could have a bad plug wire or a bad distributor cap.

Technology
So it makes the popping sound from the exhaust? I also didn't hear any popping, but ill listen with headphones in a minute. Is that a huge hole in the muffler?

Caliber308
Popping sounds from the exhaust come from unburnt fuel on exit out the exhaust pipe on deceleration, usually. There are three things that make, or not make a car run correctly: Air,Fuel and Spark. If your car is popping at speed.....Could be Fuel, lack of or too much. Or a intermittent spark problem. Caused by the Spark Plug choice, Spark Plug gap or a bad Spark Plug Wire. Do you have a Wideband?? If not. Get one. A faulty Secondary fuel injector (stuck open or leaking) will cause your car to miss out above 2500 rpms. But so will bad Spark Plugs, Incorrect Spark Plug gap and Bad Spark Plug wires, or even one bad Spark Plug wire. When was the last time you changed the distributor cap and rotor? Have you ran a resistance check on the Spark Plug wires? Bill Edited September 22, 2012 by Caliber308

RF600
When was the last time you were in Woodland? If it has been a while, a lot has changed. Second high school. More new housing than you can shake a stick at. Houses out on 102, gnat central. 9 hole golf course, also on 102. You wouldn't recognize the new parts. Ton of industrial buildings that someone got a fat wallet on. Most of them are empty and have been since they were built.

Indiana
I asked you if the OEM injectors had been cleaned and you answered no. You might as well pour gas in from a cup.
