19cturbo Posted May 4, 2008 Report Share Posted May 4, 2008 so i was at a redlight today, and i pull out calmly, and this stupid 1500 v8 with chrome wheels and a lift kit floors it, it takes me a second to realize he wants to go, so good ole me had to floor it, so i pull him by about 2 cars until we hit the next redlight, and he pulls up and just looks and me and shakes his head yes.. so i just smile and look ahead, i have a dual stage boost controller i made so i flip the "fun switch" as i like to call it, but at this light it is a left turn, he has the inside and im stuck on the outside, i figured he would want another go at the beast.. so the light turns green, and he stomps it, well with the "fun switch" on it runs 15 psi. so i stomp it around his outside, the rear end kicks out a bit, therefore i begin to pedal it and give im a little drift before i hand him his arse again.. i get through the turn and grab second,and begin to pull him again, have him by a half a car in second, and one and a half by the end of third, and sucked his lights out, he never came back up for any more after that... i guess he didnt want anymore of the ole monster.. anyway i thought it was fun.. hope you enjoy.. Must be your stock quest is faster than the one I picked up... LOL My quest is piss slow compared to my 6.0L chevy pickup... hahaa... :confused0024: Some of the 1500 v8's were only 4.x liter and about 200hp... Those would be an easy target... I'll meet you on the dyno with Pam's 1500 ....let's shoot for torque. Seriously, I've had to put a few back in their place... One my route home from work, I hit a 4 lane that changes into 2 lanes. They'll try to shoot past in the lane that ends...I don't spank them, I just pace them and stay about one car length ahead of them I haven't found one yet that required the 20 psi I'm set at for street driving. It's like revving against a Viper just to make it go all out, even if for a moment...rare chance & cool to see.
