another similar TBI stock cam setup here. ebay T3 @28psi oem OVC pipe. 300whp
That's half the turbo of the yellow '460' corolla... which makes less than 300, according to the resident experts
sooo this video dyno HAS to be BS, right ? No way he can be making more than 150hp with half the turbo

I think I need to stop trying to use logic or reason with you because you don't seem to care about that. This will be my last response because frankly this is no longer worth my time. From the very beginning my personal argument has been that there is no evidence that the car this whooooole thread is about has the fuel delivery for the claimed horsepower.

You can scour Youtube all day, make incoherent replies and ignore sound arguments and questions to make you feel vindicated and right about this subject but in my opinion you have no idea what your talking about and now you feel so entrenched in your viewpoint that you have to defend it till the end. Admitting your wrong, are fallible, need to learn more, might not have all the answers, etc is how you grow. Hopefully in the future you do that.

Oh no..... If I type a page you still won't get it. I'll try another approach:
I gave you samples of two EXTRORDINARY performing samples: 1.6 miata & a pretty much stock 2.0 1g DSM with a $150 holset
How about YOU tell me, why those smart experienced cats ONLY changed valvesprings
- remember, physics and common sense told you, they do nothing

You aren't adding any credibility to your arguments by not reading my posts. I've already answered your question, it was right below my question. Here I'll even copy paste it here for you again and highlight it.

We aren't talking about any other part, only valve springs. Valve springs don't increase lift, increase air flow, or any other thing that increases horsepower. And the examples you gave above are highly modified cars, of course they upgraded their valve springs. They are revving higher than stock and are wanting to limit valve float. Again your comparing apples to oranges...

I've not done the frame rail repair but I've done other rust repair. Are you using shielding gas on your MIG welder or just flux core? I ask because flux core welding is pretty porous and isn't the best long term solution for that kind of work. I've got a TIG welder I like to use for that kind of stuff. As for forming / bending tools while they are nice, you can just as easily make three pieces of flat sheet and then weld them in. The stock thickness of the frame rail is right around 16 gauge.

It's nice to know the history for your car. As for the frame rust... yea its sad but totally par for the course. If you need help with that just let me know.

Here we are again...

Type a book does not make u 'knowledgeable'.

Your right, typing out long explanations of why I think the way I do and giving reasons why I don't believe this Fish Tale doesn't make me knowledgeable. I guess first and foremost I never said I was an expert, I'm skeptical and I've explained why in many ways. What is missing is your explanation of how you think this is possible using facts and thought out explanations. Instead your tactic is to say "Look at this other car!" and "You don't know what your talking about." I've yet to see you give a solid answer or explanation for any of these claims.

Look how many posts it took for u to grasp the fuel supply concept. Still u couldn't wrap your head around something simple
I've fully understood the fuel supply concept the whole time and spent several posts trying to explain to you the difference between fuel flow and fuel pressure. This makes me think you still don't understand.

The 460 car specified "porsche valvesprings". U dismiss it, talking down the effort as if you've done it all
Again, questioning a person when they claim something "unbelievable" is not talking down someones effort. If I tried to tell you that I made 500 hp in a completely stock Starion would you believe me? Would it be talking down to question that? The answer is no.

And please, answer this question for me. How does upgrading your valve springs make horsepower?

We aren't talking about any other part, only valve springs. Valve springs don't increase lift, increase air flow, or any other thing that increases horsepower. And the examples you gave above are highly modified cars, of course they upgraded their valve springs. They are revving higher than stock and are wanting to limit valve float. Again your comparing apples to oranges...

And now finally this gem...
DEAD WRONG!!! Shows how little you regard experience. Try build a fast car or powerful 2.6 without it
These seasoned veterans will blow your doors off, spending a fraction of your budget. Seen it for years
Why do u think the word "unbelievable" keeps popping up ?

You replied "DEAD WRONG!!!" to my statement "Look this all boils down to common sense and physics". What?! You do realize that the experience from veterans that your talking about is built up over years as they work with cars, try new things, and see the positive and negative changes in the car and that all happens because of physics... right? What part of that is dead wrong? I'd love to know.

Lastly, the reason we keep hearing the word "unbelievable" pop up is because well... its unbelievable. Which is why you have a thread with people doubting it, one guy writing out "books", and one fella yelling from his hilltop about magic G54B wizards who make horsepower from thin air.
