importwarrior
the whole reason for this is that the turbonetics turbo i had blew the oil seals due to high oil pressure during cold startup.from what the turbo guy stated when i brought him my turbo for rebuild, the turbo drain was too small. he said to get the T6drain flange and go with a larger drain. and it would be better to go to the pan. so i am working on just that. Could have been crank case pressure not allowing proper drainage and pushing the oil back up too.
kev
Cool. Will be watching this thread. What type if fitting are you installing on your pan? I was looking at a no weld connection with a sloped entry. Such as ebay 181804940700 Kev

importwarrior
Cool. Will be watching this thread. What type if fitting are you installing on your pan? I was looking at a no weld connection with a sloped entry. Such as ebay 181804940700 Kev i was just going to easy route weld a barb on the pan real short rubber hose and 2 clamps. i just need to measure he lengthto the pan the good thing is that the turbo drain comes in a few sizes like 11 and 21 inch length. i just need to find the part numbers. the bad is that it can be up to or over $50 for the cumins drain tube. i am sure you could mill a piece of aluminum and make it a slip fit like it is meant to be.i just don't have any access to do such work. It fits a TON better but I did have to throw this gasket on there... https://genosgarage....?number=5264568 03-07 5.9L Cummins Turbo Drain Tube. 11-1/2" long.Cummins part # 3970875 21 Inch Long Turbo Drain Tube for 5.9L/6.7L Cummins Commonrail Trucks.
