Rear End Noise After Fluid Change
By Contsi,
1987 Conquest - Manual Transmission - 70k Miles
I recently changed the transmission and differential fluids for the first time.
I used recommended fluids; Mobil 1 Gear Oil, 75W90, Limited Slip Additive, Synthetic
and Red Line 50504 MT-85 Manual Transmission 75W85 GL-4 Gear Oil, for the transmission.
Right after, I started experiencing rear end noise when taking off and turning at the same time.
I was told I should add more friction modifier additive to the differential.
EGR pics
By Toots,
Good evening to all. My newly acquired 1989 Conquest 5 spd had its EGR system deleted by a previous owner. Anyone have a good picture of this EGR valve or know where I can get one?
Happy Birthday PSU_Crash!
88 tsi in Gardner, Kansas
By The Rabbit1,
Hate to get rid of it, but would rather you guys get it before the city makes me junk it.
88tsi, automatic with some upgrades.
Bad: tires are holding air for about a week and have great tread but are six years old, battery is from 2020 but it did charge up to 12v, interior needs a lot of work, front end could use body work.. haven't driven it in 5 years. And today I found out the gas tank has four pinholes in it, but it did start right up.
Good: rising rate fuel pressure regulato
