    Exhaust Manifold Studs Q

    I've had the manifolds off my car more times than I can remember. The exhaust manifold studs always turn out of the head instead of the nut coming off the stud in my experience. I'd like to have those studs stay in place since I'm sure it isn't doing the head threads any favors. Several heads and manifolds through the years and always the same story. Anytime I pull the manifold I replace the lock nuts and washers with new OEM parts. Studs get changed every few times.   Any of you have a secret t

    Hi guys,   I had posted in my restoration thread that I suspected my TPS was bad, and I still believe that unit was, when I would check resistance across the sensor, moving it back to the "idle" position resulted in an inconsistent reading when attempted multiple times. I bought a Mazda TPS kit from Boostinmini (quality hardware, highly recommend), and installed it using this graphic:   http://i.imgur.com/aJ4AoFN.jpg   So I get it all together, and I'm still getting somewhat erratic voltage read

    Situation: I am running stock boost on my 89, 650/950 trilogys, walbro 255, aem fpr(44 psi), mazda tps (.5v exactly), 3" maf before turbo. My car will idle and drive well, besides for when I first push on the gas, unless I really ease into it. It gets to 10:1 afr or will sputter with anything close to half throttle.
