1989 Chrysler Conquest TSi

Goal: A quick, great handling and comfortable GT car that I can track day and maybe autocross. I wanted a manual transmission, 4 wheel Disc brakes and 4 wheel independent suspension, leather interior in a relatively light and inexpensive package. And it had to look good. History: Bought the Conquest about 18 months ago from a guy who had done a ton of work on it but it still didn’t run or drive right. Tires were flat and it ran like crap, it was cold and snowy so I didn’t get a good look
302 checklist/swap

Hi I am 90% sure that I am going to swap my g54b out for a ford 302. I am currently looking at using a refreshed 89 HO motor with a c4 automatic transmission. The set-up will be carbureted for the time being to keep it simple. This info is just what I have picked up from reading, so please correct or add info. Swap parts Front sump pan motor mounts (weld plate to k-member) transmission mounts or modification to stock set-up. (Move stock back) Shortened mustang driveshaft. c4 transmis
