Holy crap, I have not been on this site in over 3 yrs. I can't believe u guys kept this site going and alive. I want to say the moderators have done a great job at keeping this site looking good. It is way better now than it was yrs ago......Anyway.......my alternator is bad and I want to give my baby a good alternator and need some advice on what kind and where I should get it from? Im gonna reset the timing but as the story goes I replaced the icm the other day drove it for two miles parked it came back out tried startin again and it just turned over... I let it sit for 2 days it starts but idles at maybe 200 turn it off call my dad about a timing light I come out 25 minutes later and start it and it idles like normal at 900rpm but I give it a little gas and it revs like its having a seizure its just all over the place so im gonna reset the timing seein as playin w the dis

Hey guys, im new to the site and new to starquests. I just bought an 86 Plymouth Conquest from Louisiana 110xxx miles really clean for $2900. price was high but i really wanted it. it has a few issues though. the vacuum nipples on the pressure sensor solenoid (part # MD089084) and thermo valve (part # MD012895) are broken off with no way to repair. can anyone help me out with this problem? (sorry im in the wrong section of the forum)
