Need HELP finding a motor
By starquestJOE,
well as some of you know, ive bein workin on a 1929 desoto. im at the point of finishing the floor and starting chassis work. but for the life of me i cant find a motor. what im looking for is a EARLY HEMI. the ones to find are chrysler hemis. alot more horsepower stock then the desoto or the dodge. 331, 354, or teh mighty 392. im looking for a useable motor. if it runs great, but i plan to rebuild anyway. also 1955-1958 would be bettter, only because the bellhousing is not cast to the block.
