headed to the body shop

So I'm new to these cars. And I'm looking to get some ideas on what to do to mine. It's an 87 Quest, 5 speed, Turbo. 116K miles. Need to do a compression check as I think the head gasket might be toast. Otherwise it's completely stock. I'm about to go for an emissions test. What can I do to help my chances? It runs good. But I've been reading in some threads that there is quite a few things that can be removed. To help it run better. Down the road... I'd like a fast driver. Nothing real sp
Fuel Lines (feed to rail)

Hi All, just wondering what you guys did for fuel lines to the fuel rail, in the case that you did not run new fuel lines from the tank. Did you guys reflare the stock hard pipe with an AN fitting adapter or just use rubber fuel line hose? Thanks
Starting issues

Hey guys, so I seem to be having an issue getting my car to fire up. I recently converted back to stock from mpi, i have a stock harness and 88 ecu and igniter, and a rebuilt dizzy. I set tdc and stabbed the dizzy to the number 1 position. Cranck it and it just keeps turning over nothing. I checked for spark and I have strong spark from all 4 plugs. checked for fuel, my aftermarket regulator reads 35psi. which is only about 2 psi above stock according to the FSM. I checked the plugs and only 3&a
