What gauge wire to use?
By Starwolf,
Well I have recently moved my battery to the trunk and since I have done this I have had an issue with my ecu resetting. I ran 4 gauge from the trunk back up to the front of the car and wasn't sure if I needed bigger wire? I have heard of people using 2 gauge and 0 gauge but would 4 be enough? I have two electric aftermarket fans and no aftermarket sound system so I am unsure of amps? I went by a chart online for gauge wiring and it showed for 20 foot and 100 amps that I would need 4 gauge.
2.6L DOHC.... not the unobtainium one.
By Threedoor,
Anyone using the Brian Crower 2.6 liter stroker crank in a 2.4 liter 4G64 in their Starquest? 4G54 is 91.1mm bore with 98mm stroke for 2555.2 liter vs the stroked 4G64 at 87.5mm bore and 106mm stroke for 2549.6 liters. Since SQ cars are low cost, that leaves more money to spend on the power plant right? I am sitting here drooling over the massive potential of a 2.6 twin cam engine with a twin scroll GT-35R turbocharger. Keith
