Fiberglass Heat Shield Repair!

Hey SQC, I don't know about you guys, but my fiberglass heat shield is old. With old age comes fraying edges, and falling apart, and another eyes-sore under the hood. ISC / MPS wiring dilemma?

I've been trying to iron out an odd stumble in my cars idle for quite some time, and tonight I noticed something weird. I dug out my FSM and printed TPS reset sheets, attempting to do the normal reset procedures. During the step that tells you to unplug the ISC after the 'zip' into predetermined idle setting, mine moves back when unplugged. What would cause this, and is there a detailed explanation somewhere indicating which color wires correspond at the plugs. Mine have all been hacked an

leaking injectors?

So today i was looking aroung the engien bay, just trying to get to know my car and i smelt gas so i took a look at the T/B and wiped my finder on one of the injector and its kinda hard to explian but theres a gummy film substance that reeks of gas my guess is that its gas but it was on the the metal pat just below the plug in plastic. What is going on?, is it bad?, how do i fix it?
