Okay, I swapped out the 294-84h cam and 1:6 roller rocker arms from my silver 89. I put in a stock cam and slip rockers, plus I swapped out the lifters, too. The 294-84h cam was chewed up by the 1:6 rocker arms, so I am glad I swapped it out when I did. We (Shawn/ESI-RType? has been helping) have had a lot of trouble getting the car to start and to idle smoothly. On my own I had put in a working stock MAF to replace the 3" GM MAF and MAF-T. not mine http://winchester.craigslist.org/cto/3361764234.html he says its a 87, however it IS a 86, the guy knows nothing about conquests and will argue its a 87 even though the vin/production date/hood/wiring/manual seatbelts tell you however, i dont recall seeing any rust on the car, the wiring harness in the car is scrap, he doesnt know if the motor is any good either
