1988 Starion Partial Restoration
By Colin,
This thread is dedicated to the restoration of my first car, a 1988 Mitsubishi Starion. I bought it on December 8th, 2012 (2 days after my 18th birthday) from a local man who was selling his project because he wanted to spend more time with his grandchildren. Aftermarket pulley/alternator belt wont fit. (to Big)
By gottraction,
I purchased a motor from someone and it has an aftermarket crank pulley on it. I dont see any markings on the front of it so its probaly in the rear. Its alot smaller than the oem one and its silver. Any idea who makes this? and more important. my alternator belt will not tighten up enough since the crank pulley is smaller. Do you know what belt i could ask for at the parts store?
