Just got the car registered today so I'm pretty stoked to start driving it. Anyways I noticed that when it gets warm and I push in the clutch, the rpm drops to like 500 and almost dies constantly. I have to keep on the throttle while braking (not fun). Any ideas what's causing this? Bad TPS? Also, the car is running really rich. Think I need a new MAS?   Thnx, KJ

Hello Everyone I just got this 88 Quest on 2/19/13, 64K miles lots of dents and dings, clear coat fade, road hard and put away wet. With that being said there is no RUST anywhere, and SHP adjustable shocks that are still good! Good leather int.   Spent all yesterday and most the day today working on it (had to order lots of parts) Running well now, but going to need injectors 1st is okay secondarily so/so. Sup everybody   Ive been doing this 2jz swap for like forever and the sticking point now is gettin an afordable r154. then it it me, how bout a 350z tranny. they are a little cheaper and come in 6spd. my question is I believe the spline count is 24 and the 2j is 21. could input shafts be swapped? also anyone knows if the 6sp can handel as much as the 5spd r154?   thanks.

We (JDL) are also competing in the shoot out next month in the shop FRS. We are a small shop but are capable of putting together a decent car. I feel we will also be an under dog as we are really small shop. We have 2 full time people (myself included) with a part timer that will be helping with this.
