I have a 88 starion..what does the emergency exit lever do?.. I taught it released ur seatbelts..but nothin happens whn I lift it..wat does it do!?

I was driving home last night in a rain storm and hit a retaining wall interlocking block which was laying in the road. I missed 3 of them but the fourth got the Old Broads drivers side front rim and bent it enough so it won't hold air.   I need to get the address, website or phone number of a company that straightens bent rims.   Anyone have that info on a company that you have used and are happy with their work?   Thanks in advance.   KEN
