Let me clarify so the wife doesn't think I'm talking about our anniversary...(can you say "doghouse?!")   I joined this website in early April last year. I am trying to remove the console and the front part is easy however I can't seem to get the rear portion loose and I didn't see anything in the FSM...I am sure it is just a screw or nut holding it in but I can't find it...what am I missing,thanks.

Ok i had my 89 auto act up on me on the freeway. I had it towed to a autoshop and i was told they engine needs to be rebuilt. The thing is i had the tranny rebuilt and it just seems weird now my car has problems with the engine. The car started making a sqeaking sound like maybe the cltuch wasn't engaging. So if i need to rebuild the engine how much should i be looking into to do this....also if its the bottom that needs to be rebuilt i have one from a manual. Will it work on a auto set up?
