I am trying to remove the console and the front part is easy however I can't seem to get the rear portion loose and I didn't see anything in the FSM...I am sure it is just a screw or nut holding it in but I can't find it...what am I missing,thanks.

Ok i had my 89 auto act up on me on the freeway. I had it towed to a autoshop and i was told they engine needs to be rebuilt. The thing is i had the tranny rebuilt and it just seems weird now my car has problems with the engine. The car started making a sqeaking sound like maybe the cltuch wasn't engaging. So if i need to rebuild the engine how much should i be looking into to do this....also if its the bottom that needs to be rebuilt i have one from a manual. Will it work on a auto set up?

was doing some work and putting my valve cover back on, then SNAP the stupid bolt snapped in half. We tried using an ezout on it but that didnt work. i think probably because the bolt we drilled was off center. Any ideas on what do do next?
