What would be the best way to identify an 86-87standard transmission from a 88-89 just by looking at it from the bottom? I have an 87 Starion with a non original transmossion and I want to buy a clutch kit before pull it down. One more question: is there a big difference in performance between them both? I was trying to check on the FAQ section but for some reason I'm not allowed to view pictures. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Anyone else using a G-Tech performance meter to measure their horsepower? I just got one and am starting to learn how to use it. I wanted to know what results others have had with it.

i will soon be getting a 2.6 motor in trade that i wont use it has approx 100k miles on it from what i am told. ran when pulled. complete with turbo and all. non ic type turbo. that appears to be bad. if someone is interested pm me with a offer thanks. its in central fl
