    MPS Rebuild

    By mechengrkj,
I'm getting an ISC error code (#6). Is there a way to "rebuild" the MPS/ISC to correct this or do I pretty much just have to buy a used one that works? It seems like there ought to be a way to remanufacture something like this since they are pretty much impossible to find new.

I have an error code for the O2 sensor. I check the wire to the computer and changed the O2 sensor. I also disconnected the battery to try to erase the code. I'm thinking it might be the ECU the one on the passenger side under the glove box.. I prefer an 1989 if possible since the car i have is an 1989 but i'll take a 1988 if someone has one for sale. I don't know if this matters but the car car i have is an automatic.

My project car has been finished for a while and I have had a good time with it. Time to move on to the next project. Gold with black leather interior, manual transmission, tinted windows, front bra, everything is stock. Only thing that doesn't work is the radio, it has a short. I do have another original radio that will go with the car. Total repaint a year ago and lives in my garage unless it's a 0% chance of rain. The car does have 1 rust spot on the right frame rail otherwise it's clean
