NEW GT series turbos
By turbo26tsi,
You guys outta check these turbos out, they are new technology, the first shipments just came off the truck,
they have really good low boost performance, yet high flow and great in the top end.
I chose the GT37 for my starion, which should give me the 500WHP I am looking for.
You can pick them up at Precision Turbo for $995, talk to Joe, or at Limit Engineering, talk to John at Limit, he will probably give you a better price, but he didn't have the GT37 in the 82mm which I wanted.

rust out repair
By dizzydug,
is there any availble sections(new) for our cars.the lower corner in front of the pass. side wheel is rotted.i am no metal worker so making a new piece would be a real pita
and would rather cut out the cancer and weld in a whole new piece.
i may just use the rust converter and fiberglass repair but wanted to know whats availble first.
fiberglass is my medium of choice.i may sell the car so I want to do it rite but don't want to spend a fortune.
OEM '83 retainers & locks*GP#2*07/30/03Closed

By Tim_C.,

These are the retainers & locks for the longer, early style mechanical lash adjust valves. They are better to use on all performance mechanical set-ups due to all performance cams are reduced to some degree, even new blanks that are ground, are reduced smaller than stock. The extra length valve helps restore the geometry. The valves can be used on hydraulic performance cam set-ups too. They have different keeper grooves cut into them. these are the retainers & keepers for those grooves.
