Well peeps the time has come to take my 88 "bling mobile" to the next stage in it's never ending chromed and polished life under the knife. The cooler weather is here so it's time i got my finger out and do this ! The new "built" 2.6 / trans / running gear and such has been gathering some dust for some time now and i really need to start wrenching . Iv'e had MPI'd Sq's before back in the day using the MS1 ( something of a school boy's science project in today's stand alone's ) and a locked dizzy

I have and 89 Quest that has started smoking. Its not blue or white its black like a diesel. When the turbo kicks in its worse. Would it be the turbo or something to do with the waste gate or some thing hooked up wrong. Don't know much about turbos. Please help thanks
