I'm considering a 1G Maf in my car, since I'd like to eliminate a bad stock maf in my 87 as a cause of some issues I'm having anyway.   I just wanted to know, is it really an "upgrade" ? In what way?   I'm running a completely stock fuel system... do I have to worry about AFRs being in a bad range with a 1G MAF installed?   Also, does the stock boost gauge in the cluster work the same with the 1G MAF installed?   Thanks!
