    Cam/distributor timing FAQ

    Chad
    By Chad,
Bring the motor to TDC, the cam pin should be at the very top or very bottom, rotate the crank till you get it to the top (12:00 o'clock position).  If you are not getting the cam to 12:00 o'clock and the crank to TDC, your cam is off and you'll need to drop the cam gear and advance/retard the cam to get them ligned up.  Be sure when you check the cam alignement that the chain is -tight- turning clockwise, there can be as much as 1 full tooth in slack so if you are not tight, you can get the cam

    Daytona/mustang style spoiler

    Jeremy_C
    By Jeremy_C,
Has anyone tried adapting one of these spoilers to fit a starquest?  I thought that the Daytona spoiler would be much better looking than the stock pieces (the wing above the body is sharp IMO), but I couldn't exactly mold one myself.  Anyone here good with fiberglass able to form one to fit the Quest?
