Homework for those w/ 3" exhaust

I would do this, but I don't have a 3" exhaust to complement the MPI yet. Likewise, I'm only running 7.5lbs of boost due to this.
Instead of "Guessing" that the exhaust housing is to restrictive, we need to find out for real. This will be likely be easier for those who already have an EGT mounted in the exhaust manifold, as it's rather easy to remove the probe temporarily and hook up a fitting and 18" long or so steel tubing for a boost gauge.

Ok guys, anyone out there had the TD-05 housing on their 20g bored out to TD-06 spec? Im wondering what it cost, for the machine work, balancing, and price of the wheel? Anyone using a TD-06H wheel? I heard of MICturbo in miami doing this, there anyother shops doing it. Also if anyone is using this type of application what kinda reliablitiy have you had with it? Thanks.

I'm replacing the accordian hose with pvc and lowering the 1 G mas/K&N to where the charcoal canister sat.
I don't know how to measure it's effect but the cost was minimal and the pvc should be far enough away from the heat.
I would also like to find a asthetically pleasing way to release some of that heat. I once saw a Quest with a reversed scoop placed over the turbo but did not like the look but I think it must have worked well. I'll update when completed. Mark
