HOT AIR RELEASE

Now that the pvc hardpipe/cold air package is done a hot air release is being considered. I once saw a Quest with a hood scoop over the turbo with the opening facing the windshield. I imagine such a system or something to attain the same effect could lower under hod temps by ??? 20 or more degrees easily. Anyone got something like this? Lets toss about some ideas. There must be some formula for HP increase to air temp. decrease. Perhaps this should be in the virtual mechanic forum. Let's see. Ma

Stress Relieving the Stock Exhaust Manifold

Having trouble with broken studs on your exhaust manifold? Usually the last stud snaps off resulting in an exhaust leak on our cars. Reason being is that the manifold expands and contracts with temperature. The runners of the manifold are connected by small webbing which makes the unit expand and contract as a whole resulting in the furthest stud snapping off and creating a difficult situation to repair.

Steel Braid Turbo Coolant Lines (Phase TWO)

Hello Guys
This is the SECOND ROUND of this GP as I have gotten ALOT of e-mail regarding the coolant lines to the turbo. So all the info bellow is CURRENT and ACCURATE. So read and post or e-mail me with your choice.
GP WILL Close 6-30-03
Coolant lines running TO and FROM theTURBO will be offered in the TWO trims just like the Oil Feed Lines I offered earlier. They ARE Aeroquip Fittings just like the Oil Feed Lines. They will be also assigned an "Option One" OR "Option two" Designation. I
