wheel backspacing

What is the maximum backspace for both front and rear that can fit on a widebody as I am looking into a set of 18" wheels but need to know how much room there is from the hub to the struts.

What can be removed.....

Alright like the topic says. I'm going MPI and would like to know what components can and cannot be removed. I know that the ignitor and that wiring harness can be pulled and ran all the way back over to the other side. How about all the relays on the passenger side by the air can. What one's can be if not all removed. I've removed the abs can, the can next to the powersteering resivoir, all vacuum lines, charcoal canister. I am keeping my A/C though. So I need to know what to pull and what not

Dudes--I'm gonna get me a head unit and speakers this weekend--by the way, as always, excelent info on this site! Â I've printed the instructions for rear/door speaker repacement so I feel pretty good. Â I'd be screwed without all of you guys. Â ;D
