Protect your antenna install a switch..
By Dcrasta,
I have a kenwood piece of crap stereo, and when I play cd's the antenna rolls up. I hate that, so I installed a simple rocker switch (SPST) splice it into the wire for the antenna (blue one I think) . With the switch off I can enjoy my cd's without the antenna flying up. I usually can get good reception with the antenna down also so I usually just flip it up on the highway. Allows me to listen to music in the carwash too..
Dowel Pin in Crank/Flywheel Joint
By kev,
If you ever pull off your flywheel, you will see an extra hole for a dowel pin between your crank and flywheel. Some cars seem to have this dowel pin, others don't. I personally believe that every car came with the pin installed per the factory but it is frequently tossed on clutch replacements.
Just a word of warning - INSTALL THE DOWEL PIN!! If you don't have one, buy one. If you have one already, make sure you keep it when you put your flywheel on.
