I am getting ready to begin a motor swap, and trying to plan some things out before I move forward.     I have an 86 motor with 70k on it, how much do they sell for? It runs, but I could never get it just right, but I am new to the car and am not a professional mechanic, I think it is my fault I could not get it just right. It does pull strong. I think it is either injectors or fpr, runs rich.   The transmission is a 5 speed that was just rebuilt within the past year. The cost of rebuild was $15

I have a 10 mm bolt,I am trying to remove from the panel near the hood hinge. I tried using a' gator ' socket that is universal and has tiny metal rods that are suppose to grip the bolt . the gator socket ,just slips off.I am trying to remove the bolt,and replace it with another one for a air diversion panel,so I dont want to strip the threads. any suggestions ? thanx
