Ive been asked about this by a number of members here after they have seen the setup that was in my 84.   http://www.outcasthorizon.com/auto/image/radiokit.jpg   as you can see it looked ok but it could have been better. Ive now got a design that will look very clean and securely hold a stereo and have room for gages or anything you may wish to add.   The plate is held in place with either screws or rivits to the stock radio side brackets. You will need to drill the holes for these screws/rivits

I have an 89 TSI with an automatic transmission. The tranny works fine, but when I am in the overdrive gear (going 50-60) and I push the gas down pretty good to spool it up, the clutch can't hold the torque.   So my ignorance on automatics is showing here. I have replaced a clutch on my manual 88. But my understanding of automatics is zero.   Is my problem the clutch or do the bands need to be adjusted?   Is the clutch kit the same for an automatic and a manual?   Thanks,   Obie

I'm looking for (2) front strut assemblies. I don't care what condition they are in as long as they are not rusted bad or bent. I'm gonna rebuild them with new KYB inserts.   Thanks, Cotton
