stupid question... missfire trelated

Normally I like to do my own research for an hour or so, flip throgh my fsm, and figure out how to fix my own car. However, I'm kind of working two jobs and dont even have the time to do that. Writing this from work actually. My turbo swapped raider intermitently starts missing and backfiring around 3500rpm. One moment it pulls strong to 4k rpm and litterally a few seconds later has a hard time pulling from 2k to 3500 and backfires as it hits the 3500 mark. Sounds like a secondary injector?
bleeding PS fluid

Yoo SQC, how do I bleed and dump the PS fluid? I'm needing to replace the 25+ year old fluid for the obvious precautionary reasons. Lemme know. Peace!
Troubleshooting pumps

What up playas? I'm in the need of all you old timer starquest gurus, I have a question for y'all. How do I troubleshoot my oil pump and water pump? I'm currently replacing necessary parts and have her on stands so I want to take the opportunity to replace either of the pumps if need be. 87 Quest non shp, had sat for about 8 years. Runs fine and all, just taking some precautions. Let me know what your thoughts or tips are, and they'll all be greatly appreciated. Peace!

Hey guys, I am a new owner of an 89 Conqest TSI SHP. 83k orginal miles, the car is in awesome condition. I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle and I drove it from Richmond VA to Joplin MO 2 weeks ago (1120 miles) The car runs and drives, handles amazingly.
