Finally got to working on the car. I bought a car floor jack and stuff to get under it. Since the car hadn't been serviced since my dad used it (which was a while back) I should do basic maintanence on it. I planned on dumping the old oil. With that said I referenced my 86' manual of where to jack the car up. Being a beginner at the car, I was pretty critical about following the manual. speedo off after boost gauge install into cluster

Ok, installed a mechanical boost gauge in my cluster and after reinstalling cluster my speedometer is off significantly. I pulled the cluster out again and figured you could adjust the needle on the arm or somthin simple, but it just freely spins either way. It does work, and seems to be increasing at the proper rate only it is off about 20 MPH. Anyone ever run into this? When stopped my needle is reading well below 0mph. I did not cut into any of the circuit ribbons on the back I was very caref
