I need a BLACK dash screw plug cover thingy. The tabs on mine broke off when I removed the lower dash panel to install my turbo timer.

Can a guy make a little hole in the boot and squeeze some grease in it? Its on my Buick, I just need to buy some time. Only thing is what would I seal the hole with?

So a guy I know that has three of these cars suggested that I use synchromesh fluid in my trans as that is what he uses in his cars. He says it helps shift smoother and keeps the synchros in good shape. He works for an oil refinement company and says it is better than hypoid oil which is what is also used in these trannys. Any opinions?
