cranking problem - SOLVED

OK. I've been messing with this all day and cant figure it out. I have MSI w/ msns-e code on a V3 board using a relay board. I cannot for the life of me get an RPM signal. I'm using the GM hei7 module and the stock distributor locked down. The distributor has an internal reluctor that should be driving the hei7 to outout a rpm signal. But I'm not getting any rpm signal. anyone have any ideas, i've tried reversing the polarity of the reluctor and made sure i have a good power signal in run not cr

Stock conversion vs. Caravan Conversion

ok, after researching i found that the Caravan intake was better because of longer runners and also four individual runners whereas the stocker has the "y's" in it. but a 5.0L throttle body will bolt up to the stocker and it seems people make good power on the stock conversion. i noticed you have to run an adapter plate for the throttle body on the caravan intake and you don't seem to see many people run a Caravan conversion. i've seen more stockers converted. what is everyone's take on the
