87Quest-TSI never really posts anything, so I have to make up for that. He did a couple things to his 89 after I might have helped the block crack along when he told me to drive it.       There was some bad cracking from the water ports to the stud on the exhaust side of the block. He fixed that and put pipe plugs in the water jacket for some strength.     After grinding those flush he took a nice big honing stone and cleaned up the surface.       He had to do a little work on the head a

Hello all!   Just bought my first Conquest. I've loved these cars since a friend of mine bought an '88 model new. I found an '88 on Craigslist and wound up trading for an old motorcycle I had, so I got it for a song. It has a blown engine, but otherwise the car is near perfect. Black leather interior with not even a broken stitch. The only aftermarket parts on it are the steering wheel and stereo.
