Not sure if it's a repost or not......

So the issue I'm having is after driving and I park it. Then I try to start it later. I hear it click but the car doesn't turn. It seems like it's the gear shift lever. BI move it but I'm not sure. I'm wondering if there is something else I can check. Is there a switch or something that's preventing it from starting like if the transmission thinks it's in gear or is my car having a hot soak issue? 1989 conquest auto, stock

getting a simple glass of water and 1/2 way thru it , No water ??   look out side and the pump pressure swt is on fire lol about that time I hear the breaker snap   so $134 later I get my water new swt , new wireing, new pressure gauge new circirt breaker ,, but the well pump is fine thank god just got done and I'm tired , could have been worse I guess but not happening at all would have been better haha
