Pagemo and I spent Saturday further tuning my MPI (Magna, MSII, 12a). It has been running really rich under a rough tune, like 10:1 at any boost, but I needed a passenger to run the laptop while I drove. We put alot of miles on the car, and got the A/F to around 11.5:1 under boost which feels even better.   I must say even the puny little 12a at 11 psi is still impressing me greatly. O.k so I wired up the FIP fuel computer and ignition controllers. Went over wiring 5 times, hooked up the fuel pressure guage. I am showing 40 psi while cranking , 35 when off. It still wont start. I went through 3 batteries yesterday. Sprayed starter fluid and it started and ran for 3 seconds then stopped running. It would only start one more time with the starting fluid.
