  3. With proper tuning and MPI about 400 ish. Crank is forged steel.

I am using these and i did ample amount of research and talked with some very educated people before i made my decision. they are running flawlessly for me, and i dont plan on running over 15 psi so i doubt i will ever have any problems. Ill go ahead and quote that, so you can't edit it later. :wink: no-one ever "plans" on going over 15 psi , it turns out that our cars will not make much power unless you do . But , at 15 psi the pistons will be more than ok ..... agreed. and i think that in order to reach 400+ on a starquest you need forged no, just MPI, header and supporting mods... proper tune is key after these items have been had. The motor will take it. cast might be better than hyper
  5. v8 torque and 4 cylinder torque is different. would you put a quest tranny behind a winsor?.

Whats the highest hp on a street drive g54b maybe 569whp when a STOCK 2jzgte can put down over 400WHP on stock everything with just a boost controler. no complaining contest bro. 2j>g54b we all know that BUT it does not mean the the g45b sucks. incompetent installer + pissed off machinist sucks. You motor is only as good as your machinists mood. good luck with your swap.

  9. O.K nobody probably said there was something wrong with the motor in this thread. Cool, so why are guys destroking, why are guys complaining about undersquare this and that, why are guys thinking about swaping. why are guy still dreaming about DOHC head? What does that tell you? It tell me some...no, no most dont like a challege.
  10. +10000000 if we had the sponsorship and the aftermarket support that every other car had, we'd be way far ahead. i'm perfectly content not driving a cookie-cutter car that you can buy parts from wal-mart for it. +300000 We are actually making very good progress. Alot of us are part time engineeers as opposed to hks or some body like that. In the past year we have made leaps and bounds. Just wait till the end of this year. People are going to respect this car again. YuP and guess who gets all the credit? US not hkless.   12. mingo what oil feed line are you runnin on the turbo. Is it the braided replacement line the tep sells for the 12a that is a -3 right?

  15. They flow very well on the intake side. The problem is the exhaust. This is why i tell guys stop putting baby turbos on mpi equiped cars. An equal length exhaust manifold should then be employed with nothing less than a 60-1 PERIOD. Just watch your compresion ratio as I have come to understand most us of dont even know ours. This will need to be tailored to where your big turbo's sweet spot is or else eject your head/gasket to oblivion.
