I dont know if i posted in the right place. I seem to be getting opinions on how the car looks and all sorts of comments. I am selling the car not asking for your opinion. You either interested or not. I know how the car looks and you can see it from the pictures. Just because i described EXACTLY whats wrong with the car this doesnt make this thread a beauty pageant. If you want I'll post it again 4 u under a different subject so you can all discuss what you dont like ???

Update.. The battery was exchanged and the car runs.

After many years.. the time has come. I thought i'll sell my starion with few parts instead of junking it or giving it to salvation army. I paid quite a bit of change for the parts in the days so somebody might benefit from it instead me throwing it away. Instead of BS-ing around all I remember about the car is spelled out. To save your time and mine. All the maintenance on the car was done my me so i did baby the car @ one point. I never drove the car much .. got it with 89K somewhere around 1995 if i remember correctly. So 40K over 12 years. ** The car ** 1988 Mistubishi Starion, Red 137K, Manual ** The Good ** Extrude Hone exhaust manifold (paid ~$500 + new exhaust) Ported Turbine outlet to match with exhaust manifold Eibach Springs Suspension Techniques Sway bars. (front and rear) HKS Exhaust.. (small hit on the pipe but no holes) (~2.5 years old) ACT clutch with stock lightened flywheel (-10lb) ~5K on it or less MSD ignition K&N w/ modified can. (no can to be exact) Tokico inserts in front (guess) ~20K on them (changed right after installing springs) Tokico rears changed @ a later date (guess) ~15K ?????? Cat delete downpipe. (so the car now has only 1 cat) Digital voltmeter gauge. ** The Bad ** Rear diff is making a loud noise when the clutch is not released very gently. I have been driving like that for quite some time. There is rust in few places and few dents. Most likely the cylinder head (or gasket) is cracked @ #1 cylinder, the spark plug shows traces of anti freeze. Front windshield is leaking sometimes when it rains. (It was replaced way back.. so possibly they didnt do a good job) Both side mirrors are broken (welcome to NY) (still attached to the car ) Passanger's side lock has toothpicks in it. (dont ask me) Driver's lock has been pulled out when somebody broke into the car. (it does come with alpine alarm and the doors lock via remote) (if I find it) Of course AC is dead.. dont know if the gas escaped but never bothered to fix. Driver's seat belt is stuck. Crossed drilled rotors in front (but cracks appeared) Front spoiler really needs to be replaced. Handbrake is not working. (most likely due to calipers) Alpine stereo will be included (tape deck and cd changer controller If i find the face for both) but due to equalizer dying no sound. One radiator fan dead. One of the head lights doesn't pop up. The car has not been driven for last 6 months so battery is dead but It might still have the warranty. Serious offers only as i dont really have time for joy rides. Sorry but locals only. (I might drive it a few miles for u) I am so attached to the car.. this it took me so long to decide to sell it.. but it makes no sense for me to keep it.
