  1. Yeah I can see possibly printing the nylon gear cable but not sure if there is a way to attach it to the mast. If that is possible, I would cut the cable from a new antenna and attach it to my.
  2. Cool Drove through Lynn recently on the way to Marblehead.
  3. What am I searching? How to cast antenna mast? Thanks
  4. Here is what it looks like installed: https://ibb.co/mT5p2cb I trimmed about 6 inches from the nylon cable (not sure you need to). I noticed that this mast is skinnier than ours, but as long as it doesn't pass the outer ring, it will stop when it goes up. Also, notice that the tip is different. I prefer ours. It's very easy to take out the mast, I can slide mine back in since the actual mast is not broken. I'll keep looking for the correct length, if anyone comes across something, please let me know. Thanks
  5. The mast I got (for Saab 900) is just over an inch too tall. https://ibb.co/QjMNSN7 For around 20 bucks it was worth a try. I may still install it. I'll look around using the measurement and see if I can find something.
  6. I echo all the good things said about Dad above................
  7. Should of mentioned that apparently the nylon gear cable has to be trimmed for that reason (not going all the way down)
  8. Looking at Facebook pages; someone said that one for a SAAB 900 would fit, can anyone here confirm? Thanks
  9. Someone said Autozone has a mast that would need the snake to be trimmed; anyone here familiar with this or which one it would be? Thanks
  10. Unfortunately the nylon snake broke, it's very brittle. anyone know of a mast replacement source? I had another car with similar set up, the mast broke and I was able to feed a replacement into it. Thanks
  11. Thanks guys. Tried searching but doesn’t work very good for me. I’ll be getting into it.
  12. 87 Quest Goes all the way up every time with radio power. On rare occasion it will go all the way down. It stops at various height on the way down. Could this be slipping from worn nylon gear therefore no fix or could it be repaired? Thanks
  13. Thank you for the information, this is good to know. I tried to quote your post, not sure why it didn’t show. I need to get something soon. I had patched mine a couple of times but too far gone now.
  14. Quite a few complaints of paint damage from this cover - can you see a way that this could happen? What material is on the paint side. I have a very old cover that is finally breaking down, the material on the paint side is very soft and never had issue with paint damage.
  15. Didn’t know where to post this (figured more eyeballs here). Any recommendations for a decent outdoor, waterproof and decent fit cover?
  16. Yeah I had that click noise amended per TSB when I first bought the car.
  17. Just saw this- I’m in Easton, where are you? Just saw your profile- Boston proper?

Two last minute bidders brought it to 16k - I'd say good buy.

This is very close to mine, so am interested to see what it brings. Mine is black with about same mileage but not the changes like front seat recover and air filter can cutout. My radio is also still stock.
