I have Delphi injectors. Looking to add adjustable fuel regulator and a stand alone fuel controller. Having trouble locating 1gen Maf-t. Should I just go megasquirt?. I have a wide band o2 sensor and guage. Thanks! Eric

I too am looking to run MS with the stock TB. Wondering about how to run the idle control. Would like to do away with the isc/mpc. I have looked into the PWM/ IAC valve options. Not sure the best way here. Also, I use the replacement Trilogy Turbo injectors and wondering can I reuse them in a batch fire setup, or do I need 2 secondaries like Scott87 is doing. BlueCuda , would love any update you can give along the way. Thanks! Eric -

the o-rings come from the TB kits i get at autozone.....it is a strange failure...i have normal fuel pressure, measured at the TB....it just seems to blow out and then leak and drip down off the regulator....i get paranoid when i start it and want to take a peak under hood every time i drive it.....irratating..... eric

i keep having the oring in the fuel pressure regulator (small one) fail and allow fuel to pour out around the regulator ( maybe twice a year) ....major fire hazard......i read where ethanol is hell on rubber..... any thoughts ? eric

mine took quite a bit of heat to "pop" it and i had it opened up on bench.....using a large gear puller ....if you need it done quickly, i would say 250 plus parts is a steal.... eric

they are available from flaps all the time for "non-intercooled only " for model year 1987....what is the difference from the intercooled if they 4-bolt also... stronger for the increase in HP ?...mitsu also lists different part #'s for model year 1987 intercooled and non-intercooled with respect to axles......... anyone use these axles for a intercooled 4-bolt quest ? thanks, eric

i had alot of front to back main shaft play....id say 1/4 inch at least.....bearing retainer was pounded out from years of burnouts i guess from PO's.......the bearings seemed ok , no noise...i just figured after all that play, it couldnt be good for them.....so a full rebuild.... eric

thanks to Professor Quest....following his tips and know-how, i rebuilt my 87 tranny with new bearings , syncros, and a new hardened bearing retainer.....i also added a nice MK-1 short shifter (awesome feel...best upgrade yet)....shifts like butter with 75w-90 coastal brand GL-5.....i know i know.....the GL-5, GL-4 debate is coming.....im sticking GL-5 for now...... i did it at home with with no press, just heat to remove bearing and typical pullers...it is quite a puzzle, but go slow, lay everything out and mark everything, take lots of pictures at every stage!!...i mean it....u will wish u had...... i have done a few engines and now a manual tranny....only thing left to try is an automatic.....hey, my VW van is an auto....hmmmmm just bragging, eric
