I mentioned this to Tom (Tman) and he suggested that I post it here. While at the screener's shop, I came across a shirt design that he has done for a motorcycle club previously. This was a custom design of the Dragon route with the names of all the different curves. Since I have done several Meet shirts with them in the past, he is willing to give a pretty good deal on the printing of the shirts if those that are going would like to purchase one. I have come up with an event specific front "pocket" design to commemorate the meet. I am not looking to make any money off the shirts, so if the costs go down with volume, so does the final price. If I need to start another thread for this, I can. Looks like a nice kit but FYI...Those lines are not up to DOT certification standards, and if you have them on a road car, easy target for an insurance company to not pay a claim if you have an accident. JR

If it is the ones I am thinking of, they were the last bits rounded up from all the reporting dealerships. that is not to say that there are not a few out there either unaccounted for or not reported in the national system. We were told there were no more new 83 hoods left, but every so often some dealership/person comes across one. JR

Not sure how I feel about the latest remake to hit theaters. Hollywood can apparently not come up with any new ideas, so we are going to just re-do everybody else's. Looks cool enough, but I still have "special" memories from the first movie. Do you think that the market is just watered down, or has every story already been told?

Found a modded one too.

I have a set of the ARE 192 mesh (same appearance as the Enkei 92) wheels in gray center and polished rim. I purchased these after being mis-informed about the offset. These are 7" front/ 8" rear with a 20 offset on all wheels. These should work perfectly on any flatty 85.5-87, or could work on a widebody with the proper spacers for the rear. I would rate the wheels at an 8 out of 10. I would keep them, but I have a few projects that could use the funding. These are the original equipment for the Mustang Saleen 5-bolt. There are no center caps with the wheels. I will try to get pics posted in the next day or so. I wanted to list them here before going to the Mustang crowd. I know that you are in "sunny California", but did you do anything to prevent run-off water from getting into sensitive areas of the engine bay? It looks like one of those vents are over the distributor, and I am not sure what cold water would do to a hot exhaust/turbo manifold. Staring to look good. JR

Just as a bit of back-story, this Representative is going through experimental treatment for Hepatitis-C that his staff is eluding to effecting his mental capabilities due to fatigue and other side effects (they will not state that directly). While I have sympathy for him for battling the illness, this man is still allowed to participate in intelligent discussion and decision making in determining the nation's future course. Someone with his apparent mental ambiguity should certainly not be allowed to stay in his leadership capacity while in that diminished state. He should be relieved at least until it can be proven that the illness/treatment is no longer influencing his thought processes. JR

I have a couple of the unmodded Magna intakes sitting in the garage that I am not going to be using any time soon. I would like to free up some cash for other projects, so they have to go. Looking to get $250+shipping for each. I can get pics upon request, but they are just run of the mill intakes. JR

If it were me, I would find another tuner. That type of lazy advise will not fair you well with these cars. Buying a system to make adjustments to a failing part, is only going to at best postpone the inevitable, and at worst grenade your motor. Best thing you can get first, is a copy of the factory service manuals. That will eliminate a lot of the "having to replace a bunch of parts and trial and error and spend a lot of money" the tuner referenced, and you can be assured that you have a working system to start from.
