  1. Actually they pay for about ~2 months maybe out of the whole year. I've been watching the server for a while now, and it just comes to a crawl with almost no load whatsoever. It's not clear what the problem is, but there are only 2 other low traffic sites on the same server. I'm still tweaking apache to try optimizing, but nothing seems to be resolving the problem yet. I haven't given up yet!
  2. I've been monitoring for some time now, and I've not been able to determine a specific cause yet.
  3. This thread is borderline, please don't cross the line with it.
  4. Following tradition, turkey day is almost upon us, so anyone that wants to get out and burn off some of that food, come on out to the Cedars of Lebanon park near Lebanon, Tennessee. The date this year is Saturday, November 28th around 11 am. Weather permitting, we'll play a round of frisbee (disc) golf, if not, we'll wing it, and then head into town for a late lunch / early dinner. Here's a link to last year's event: http://www.starquest...showtopic=82307 and a link to info about the park: http://www.tennessee...t/parks/Cedars/ Ken B talked about coming this year when he butt dialed me with his phone and I called him back...
  5. I think I finally found the fix for this, give it a shot and let me know.
  6. I thought that's what that little box up in the top right of the page was?
  7. At the moment this is the only style we have. I'm hoping to be able to work on some other color schemes as I get the time/chance, but don't count on much until after the diabetes walk, my time is devoted to that for the rest of the time until it is over. feel free to donate to the walk
  8. it was only partially fixed, there was still a limit on how many mails a domain could send in an hour that had us limited to 10, should be all good now.
  9. There's been an issue the server admin has been working on, and hasn't been having any luck. Anyway, I changed the settings for the forums and emails should be working again.
  10. Starquest Friends, Just a quick note to thank all of you for your help in the past, and a reminder that the time has come yet again for me to go out and walk. This year I was Co-Chairperson on the Media Committee for the walk, and this is the video for television that I produced, with the audio track provided by my Co-Chair. It was a lot of work, but very rewarding and I learned a lot as I went along On October 5th, I will be again in Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes to support the American Diabetes Association. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be supporting the Association's research effort while also helping fund programs and advocacy. My goal is again to raise $10,000. Please help me reach my goal by supporting me for this year's walk by following the link to my personal Web Page below to make a secure, 100% tax deductible donation, or the paypal link below. If you are unable to help out this year, I understand, and am still thankful for the help you've given in the past. http://main.diabetes.org/goto/tori2009 or paypal donation and include your site user name. (note: paypal will charge ~4% so please use the method above if you can) Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes. I appreciate your support for this worthy cause. Together we can stop diabetes. One step at a time. Thank you!
