Interested in buck runners. And the panels that are above your rear view mirror, is that the ones that go along side the radio in the middle. Where in Wisconsin? -
I think Your car is one of the straight up sexiest on the forum. Why are you ditching the hood.

So here it goes. I have Krazy K's ex Conquest. its a 1989 SHP Tsi. White with tan leather interior, STICK. As you are probably already aware its got issues. The car has 68k on the chassis. probably 1k on the motor. Not it matters. The motor is probably junk to anyone here. its salvagable but need to be overbored as its got some scores in the 2nd cylinder wall. THe spare motor tho is gorgous. It cant possibly have more than 40k on it. I pulled the head off it, thinking it would go onto the other motor until I found out it was eating itself. The car is in fair condition considering age. everything seems to work inside. Needs a good shampooing. Theres odds and ends that need to be addressedd.(trim peices, small rips, wear and tear essentially) The suspension is tight. The brakes are fine, trans shifts flawlessly. I just put plugs, wires, cap, rotor, all oils, coolant, and clutch 70 miles ago. The flywheel was loose so no garrantees on the clutch. lol Anways the car is solid. the rust is only on the body. I had it on a lift so I thoroughly inspected it. Its clean underneath. Its a great project for anyone here. I just dont really have the time for it right now. I know itll be a year before I get to it again. The car has 3 inch exhaust turbo back, tokiko struts on eibach springs(handles great). Included with sale is a spare, GOOD dash, cluster, brake calipers, motor, two manual trans a differential, 4 driveshafts, 16G turbo(great condition), bigger injectors, 4 or 5 computers, a hood, a hatch&glass, tail lights, fender, carpet, weatherstriping, more trim pieces than I can count, two manuals, and alooot of other stuff. I have a price in mind of what its worth I guess, Shoot me an offer, I know I missed stuff so please ask questions. pictures are here: http://s1242.photobucket.com/albums/gg523/Josh429er/ My number is 262-305-3241call/text anytime if I don't get back to a pm in a day, email Josh429er@gmail.com Thanks guys

I actaully was just talking about it at work with some buddies. From I understand Ecoboost can be turned on and off. The problem is that people use it when they first get into there cars. My buddy went on to tell me that You have to wait until the cars warm to use it. He said his parents own an ecoboosted edged ford and if you ecoboost on short trips or in "city" driving conditions it will hinder gas mileage. Hope that helps. I hate Ford so I wouldn't buy a ford anything but I hope the edge works out for you, my grandmother has one and loves it, heard good things about it.

I've already started lol Thanks guys.

I'm employed as a welder, I've built two motorcycles from nothing so I'm not afraid of it lol, but we'll see how I do this is my first solo project.

Never got the message, Sorry I wasn't on in probably a week or so, I swear I didn't get a message.

I agree, white is just great on these cars, but SM yellow is killer. I love how the white fixes all mistakes as well as show off all the curves. Like you cant see the runs on my fenders till your looking for them. But I have an idea for the color I'm gonna have it painted. http://www.asphalte.ch/Auto/Porsche-911-Carrera-S-Type-991-2/Porsche-911-Carrera-S-Type-991-03.jpg I love that color. Alot of porsches' colors are AWESOME but they just don't have a great looking car like the starquest to show them off

First time I've ever seen one lol, That was probably enough to wreck that crappy dodge transmission lol. Seriously need to get bigger gearing in the rear end your maxing out 1-25th pretty quickly. thats funny tho.

Feeler for a Minn / Wisconsin Meet
Josh429er replied to speedyquest's topic in StarQuest Meet Planner
Hey Guys, Although my quest is down for awhile. I would love to meet some of the quest guys and familiarize myself with an actual conquest and not a brutally raped pile of sadness. I am going to iola Car show on the 12-15 of June. It is a huge car show they say one of the biggest car shows in the midwest. probably the biggest swap meet in the midwest. That sounds like an excuse to meet up to me. -
The decision was mad before I posted. Once I looked under the car I knew the engine was shot. Kyle half a**** EVERYthing, And just the thought of him going past the valve cover made me sick. He didn't know what he was doing, but was a hell of a sales man. Thats what i get for not listening to myself, and double checking everything. I knew this motor was shot when I found the "sludge" I am curious as I'm sure a couple of you are. Hope to hav an answer for you guys tomorrow. But thanks for bringing up the crank. Now if it walked wouldn't have been banging and hammering like a mofo? like I said it was silent. The flywheel only rattled every once and awhile. No knocking nothing. I thought at max the flywheel bolt holes would bee fudged up but IDK any more. I really wanna see my BRAND NEW clutch lol. Salvagable?
