  1. I know this is over a year old now...but just want to say I too had the same problem for quite a while now. I finally got around to searching why the same problem of cold rough idle and running fine when slightly warmed up. Sometimes it would be idling so rich it would spit black condensation or raw fuel out the tail pipe. Good thing this car isn't my daily driver and haven't racked to many miles like this. Should have been paying attention to those injector connectors.... -Dave
  2. Yeah I agree with fully soldering and shrink tubing. I wouldn't go outta my way to buy something like I posted. Just putting it out there that it is possible with most likely not the greatest solder. I like using adhesive lined shrink tubing to make a weather proof seal. Found cheap at harbor freight tools http://www.harborfreight.com/42-piece-marine-heat-shrink-tubing-67598.html -Dave
  3. ^^ Yes sir you can with Low Temp solder found in these... http://www.delcity.n...ectors/p_805407 Those posted from mstieg found at harbor freight tools are just like you said... only adhesive lined and need crimping. These even these that are pretty much the same thing as thee above, made by G-Apex... but cant find anywhere that sells them. https://www.youtube....h?v=24FjjIVpk9U -Dave
  4. Found one, Thank you MPGorBOOST for your offer. -Dave
  5. Looking to buy a exhaust manifold that is not cracked. Stress relieved and or ported would be nice. Even a plain stocker is better then my cracked to hell mani. Let me know how much shipped to 95037...any pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave
  6. Pretty much what StarquestRescue said. The ecu knows the o2 sensor is working and turns off code 1 when the o2 sensor is up to temp. and is sending approximately 1V to the ecu. According to FSM it says to test for aprox. 1V from the o2 sensor while revving or "racing" the engine and while coolant temp. is between 185*F-205*F. Sounds like your ecu never receives that signal from the o2 sensor being bad. -Dave
  7. Looks like Toyo offers a 245/45/16 again. How long have these been around, meaning rereleased in this size? From the looks of it on TireRack they are *NEW, as if they have been recently been added??? Saw that these tires were being talked about back in Dec. last year... mainly about the v pattern grooves not channeling water off to the shoulders for better rain traction. I could have swore looking around for 245/45s back then and didn't find these at that time?? -Dave http://i856.photobucket.com/albums/ab124/gtonerace_nos/Untitled_zps18236536.png
  8. I have this type http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Sizes-Valve-Spring-Compressor-Pusher-Tool-For-Car-Motorcycle-Automotive-Tool-/360747878934?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item53fe3fca16&vxp=mtr and this one as well http://www.sears.com/craftsman-valve-spring-compressor/p-00947627000P Have used the craftsman one before, just gotta watch while compressing the springs that the tool's fork that sits on top of valve retainer doesn't dig into the valve cover gaskets seating surface of the cylinder head. -Dave
