  1. It's a 1972 Honda CB750 It started out looking something like this: (but imagine it in terrible condition haha) http://www.cb750.com/images/main/Honda_CB750.jpg
  2. Finally "finished" my motorcycle build after a whole year (is that how long it's been?), still have some tweaks to do but it's pretty much there. Now I can start on the Starion again. After so much time has passed, I kind of want to pull my motor, rip everything out, start completely fresh on electrical, and paint the engine bay. It'll give me peace of mind knowing all the electrical is mine Not sure what to do about the distributor though... http://i.imgur.com/LB0TXAg.jpg
  3. Found the answer if anyone else ever searches for this: The Megasquirt fuel pump wire should be spliced into the white-wire/red-stripe on the main relay
  4. This project has been taking my time up and away from the Starion http://i.imgur.com/nq2Kl3h.jpg
  5. I know the main relay has multiple wires that control the fuel pump at different times (i.e. one wire for "start" position, one wire for cranking, etc.) Which of these wires do I connect the Megasquirt fuel pump wire to?
  6. What plug is used for the TPS sensor? I thought it was this one but I was wrong and can't find the correct connector: http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server500/55923/products/523/images/812/5752x1__86942.1285254097.1280.1280.jpg And what are the connects for the coolant and temp sensors? I can't find info on what I need to plug into those two
  7. It's been too long since I've done anything or updated this thread... I'm back! Got bored and am waiting on parts on my motorcycle build so I decided to jump to the Starion to get something done. I cleaned out the interior. Removed the A/C unit from under the dash. Put the MS harness through the firewall. Installed the Corbeau seat, finally. http://i.imgur.com/7xVEZDu.jpg
  8. After a long break from my Starion I have picked the project back up and am beginning to wire my MS harness up. I have four sensors on my MPI intake and am not sure what plugs into them so that I can connect my MS to them. 1. coolant temp 2. coolant temp (which one do I use?) 3. air temp 4. TPS What plugs (connectors) go into these so I can solder them to the wires on my MS harness? I can't seem to find the correct for TPS connector for the TPS sensor. http://i.imgur.com/akweSRi.jpg http://i.imgur.com/skQ7aji.jpg
  9. Agree with the other posters, you need to add a real cat near where that resonator is at. Leave the one on your downpipe hollowed out.
  10. Pretty sure it's the 1.6 that we use, at least that's what mine are
  11. I've had a few RRODs but the new(er) Xboxes don't overheat anymore. Also there was a recall, they gave out new power supplies awhile back, I got one. Edit: Maybe it wasn't a recall exactly, but I know they were replacing power supplies at one point for anyone who asked.
  12. Paint is probably going to be awhile, want to make sure I have everything squared away and that i don't blow my motor and end up doing a motor swap
  13. Correct if I'm wrong but I believe he cut and hammered in his hood for the vents
  14. Roller rockers came from a 3.0 Dodge Caravan with the 6G72 engine
  15. Once I "finish" putting mine back together
  16. Welp I've finally got myself a garage, time to start working again I've sent my ECU back to Scott as I'm going to be using a MegaSquirt harness rather than the stock harness. The lack of documentation with the '86 was too much of a pain to work with so starting fresh will be nice. http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh538/leesfer/IMG_20130118_182238_zps43082a09.jpg
  17. Not quite, the Miami Vice Daytonas were McBurnie replicas which are no fiberglass body kit, they're pretty impressive builds
  18. I wouldn't do that, but that's just me. I think matte black looks bad unless it's done with a very nice vinyl and even then only on certain cars
  19. Sorry guys this is no longer for sale But I do not think it would work for an 87
  20. I'm in the same field, and IF you are willing to move to California (San Fran), and IF you have a bachelors at least, you can be earning somewhere above 80k at the minimum. My friends who recently graduated with masters in Comp Sci are making 120k the day they left school. Also your flatty would fit right in, no one around cares much about the "professional" look as much as a classic look
  21. Where'd you get the bar you're using for your strut bar?
