  1. Sorry for the super late reply. In California near San Jose, I've been looking to have my engine rebuilt
  2. We all like to work on our cars ourselves, but sometimes we don't have the time or tools to do so. Sometimes it's easier to just bring it into a shop. Searching online for a local place that knows Starions and Conquests is basicly fruitless. Perhaps you own or work at one, or have good word about a G54b guru somewhere. What are shops in your area that you're confident in bringing your car into? edit: It's great that you take pride in working on your car yourself, but if you're here to tout how much money you saved on labor costs and talk about how it's "really not that hard" (with your full tool set, engine lift, and spacious garage)... Don't be that guy
  3. i just read this whole entire thread... excellent write up
  4. 225/50-16 245/45-16 SHP tire sizes. about an inch wider with diameters not far from non-SHP this website is pretty helpful: http://www.willtheyfit.com/
  5. I bought a pair of SHP 9's + tires from Rob. good honest guy. it would've been a solid transaction but there was plenty of delay (good thing i wasn't in a rush) & making two payments wasn't needed, if only he had calculated the shipping cost at the start. I'd buy something from Rob again
  6. there's nothing like the feel of driving on a crispy, comfortably cool night
  7. i'm looking for a pair but if the deal's right i may consider a set. but yeah let me know if so, it'd be much appreciated

  20. great seller. shipped out right away. items were well packaged
  21. wow, great find thanks a lot man! i ordered one too.. at that price, why not replace the old coil haha
  22. Why get an aftermarket ignition coil? obviously new parts are better than 22+ year old parts, but how do you know when to replace the coil? do really need to? does it make a difference on the butt-dyno? do you better gas mileage? i've searched and searched, but it doesn't seem like there are any definite answers as to why one should upgrade their coil, or if there are any performance benefits
