  1. There was a member from Bahrain who had a skyline diff installed. Or maybe it was a WRX diff, skyline axles... something like that. He wanted gear ratio selection, he's a professional driver in the middle east. Nissan VLSDs are crud compared to our clutch types. You'd be going a step backwards. For all the fabrication needed to do a diff swap, you could easily bolt in a 4.22 set and have the backlash set correctly and be way ahead of the 240sUx game. -Robert
  2. https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/903476_10152708915010534_110572337_o.jpg My van's 4g64 getting a make over. -Robert
  3. If you don't follow the rules and stop spamming the group purchase section with your spamvertisements, then we don't need you here. This is not the first time you've been warned about this behavior. -Robert
  4. Drill out the holes a bit, and it will work great. -Robert
  5. Yeah some of brosport's sensors are the weak link in all the installs I've doe, of course the issues didn't arise until after the warranty period. The oil pressure and water temp sensors have had no issues though. I have a volume control knob similar to what was linked, and its so much better than using the touch screen all the time. -Robert
  6. Looks good. I forsee those tires not saying Kumho much longer, haha. -Robert
  7. I'd suggest photo shopping out some of that graffiti. -Robert
  8. Good to see you back Sam!! -Robert
  9. Let them know we can assist in the security detail, but need gas powered golf carts. -Robert
  10. You only need the DON'T DO IT disclaimer if you're not smart enough not to think things through before you do them. Like removing the potential for fire before using a torch on something, which applies to more than just parts of a fuel system. ... or posting replies on the innanet. Oh no!! An experienced mechanic said he used a torch on part of his fuel system with posting any safety disclaimers... get the ignorant pitchforks out and hop on the flaming safety bandwagon!! LOL... -Robert
  11. Simple solutions in a complicated world. LOL... -Robert
  12. So did it get fixed?? I just realized that this post I quoted was from another thread you posted with similar issues from two years ago lol. -Robert
  13. It should be noted that his water pump pictured is for an 83-86 g54b. 87-89's use a different style water pump. -Robert
  14. Look up on how to check if you got a fake walbro, plenty of fakes out there now. You need to be doing some testing, like voltage at the pump, and PSI readings, especially when you're having an issue. Just throwing new parts at it is the wrong way to go, you need to find the cause of the issue. If turning the car off, and then back on fixes the problem, it sounds like it the altitude solenoid. -Robert
  15. $20 or so for the BSE kit, $6 for the oil pump gasket. You'd save money by not needing to buy the BS chain, and guides, and sprocket. -Robert
  16. Thanks, cell phone sized pics are coming soon for you lol. Thanks!! I'm glad they're enjoyed, because I enjoy taking pictures haha. -Robert
  17. Delete them now, before any issues arise, if you have guide wear, your shaft bearings are probably worn too. It also makes redoing the timing that much simpler. -Robert
  18. Welcome to the site!! I saw you are looking for a radiator, consider this swap: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=113241 -Robert
  19. The "drivetrain section" is locked because it's a place for posting tips and how to's. -Robert
  20. I just looked at your pic, that's pretty bad. Either your car has been repainted, or whoever supplied your new paint got it wrong. -Robert
  21. I like the paint... not sure what you're doing with the exhaust tip on the inlet though... lol... -Robert
  22. Mitsu used multiple names for one paint code depending on the year. PW1 is another code for a shade of White. As far as repaints, it's likely the old paint has turned color just enough to make it not match. White is a tough color to match perfectly. Try cutting your old paint to bring up a new surface. -Robert
  23. Your specs look good. As long as you have lug centric nuts to go with lug centric wheels, you should be good to go. -Robert
